"Dramaturgy" is the first full-length release from VW Trainwreck. This 100% DIY album is the product of two years of writing and recording, and features 16 tracks that will excite and inspire any music looking for something new and original. The album's themes include critiques of pop-culture and status-quo politics (such as "Stumbling Towards Perfection", "Left to Burn," which was inspired by the Virginia Tech Massacre, or "Suburban Hell" about the consumerist rat race), as well some heavy doses of humor and irony along the way ("Jail Bait," "VW ThemeWreck," or "Beer, Sports, and Porn," a song inspired by the comedy/writings of comedian Bill Maher). The album has some surprises for fans as well (such as rare, un-released acoustic tracks and a punk-cover of a B.B. King song). Each song on Dramaturgy is unique and memorable in its own way, completely free of generic gimmicks or tired melodies. This album certainly falls in line with the "VW Trainwreck Mission Statement"...
